I was so happy to be invited to this year's Refugee Solidarity Summit at The Albany, Deptford.
The annual event brings together many inspiring individuals and organisations who are working to ensure that refugees are welcome and have the support they need to create a life in the UK, and Europe.
It was great to share my coffee with everyone at the summit and be part of many interesting conversations, including sharing my personal experience of being detained when I first arrived in the UK.
